This week was a real doozie but we survived!
I think it is so important to find the humor in everything and boy was there a lot of humor this week.  It was just an odd, weird, strange, glad it is over kind of week.

We had a bat in our house which led to a visit to the health clinic.

While at the health clinic Pascal gave a us a scare and had a little fainting episode (good place to faint right?) that led to a 911 call and a visit to the emergency room.

Here they are loading Pascal up.  He was waving and giving us thumbs up as he left that's why I took the photo.

He was at the emergency room FOREVER so we made the best of the time and popped into a book store where the kids found a bin of 1/2 price items...

We sent these pics to Pascal while he was in the emergency room to just keep him laughing.

After several hours Pascal called and said he was waiting for us out side of the hospital.
He was poked, prodded and had lots of test run and checked out 100% healthy!  The nurse said he is the picture of health!  So in the end we were relieved and happy!

This was one of his bracelets, it just made me laugh.  He went in on a stretcher and by the end of the day we were eating at  Subway!  Thank you Lord!

A few of Meg's outfits this week.  (skirts are this girl's thing!)
In the midst of chaos fashion is still a priority folks!

Last night I was a little frustrated because we had forgotten to get a few things for Owen's class. So we made a run to the nearest store but as we headed out we saw a beautiful sunset and I thought we would have missed this if we hadn't come out.  I also attended a PWOC women's retreat.  The Lord had much to say to me.

Our speaker spoke on Joy. As I looked back over my notes this morning these statements spoke the loudest to me:

*The deeper the relationship with God the deeper the Joy.
*Joy is a choice!
*Happiness is circumstantial and joy is internal.
*You will FEEL what you DWELL on!
*Look for God's fingerprints in the middle of your despair.
*When you choose to live above your circumstances by changing the focus of your life, you can live in JOY, and live with contentment.
*JUST SHOW UP, He's our leaning post rely on Him not your circumstances!

Good thoughts to end a crazy week with.  I am happy to flip the calendar page to April.  A fresh week and a fresh start!  May you find JOY this week!

This week we headed off with Marvin and his family to this cave.  It was a good hike up to get  there.  Once we got there you could go deep down into it and it went on forever!   The only catch was it was complete darkness the kind you can't see your hand in front of your face dark.  But with a cell phone flashlight, one headlamp, a glow stick and one more small flashlight we went in!  Talk about true explorers!  3 brave Mamas and 5 kidos had such fun exploring this huge cave with flashlights!

                                                                     Heading down into the cave

Lots of dust!  The dust particles make it look like snow!

Tired explorers after a long hike.

Marvin suggested we do some photo bombing!

                                                                    Photo bomb #1
                                                                              Photo bomb #2
Photo bomb time for the girls #3
                                                                            Photo bomb #4

Best Friends!  Sometimes Christa and I laugh because they will show up dressed almost alike.
\
A few fashion shots of Ms. Meg

She dressed up Friday night because we were going to one of our favorite restaurants as a treat....Chipotle!

These shoes crack me up!  When I saw them I thought maybe Meg won't like these.  I showed them to here and she said, "Those are so me!"  We couldn't make it out off the Goodwill parking lot without her putting them on!  All for $1.50!  She wore them to church!

I wish I had a picture of her this morning.  We rented the movie Frozen and Meg and Owen both really like it.  Meg was super into it so much so that she wore a pair of gloves to school and church!  So funny!

We played hard over Spring Break and enjoyed everyday!  Now its back to routine!

We found out over the break that we will be heading to Kansas in a few weeks!
Owen along with many others have asked us, "What's in Kansas?"  We really haven't a clue but God does and we are excited to see what He has in store for us there!

Owen had mustache and crazy glasses day at school.  He took on a whole new personality when he put these glasses on.  I thought it was funny that when I dropped him off to walk with Marvin I watched through my mirror and Marvin was walking awfully fast. Later in the day Owen told me how Marvin was embarrassed to walk beside him!

They opened a new farm store in town and we decided to check it out.  We thought these chicks were so cute!

When you put your hand out they would all scurry over. I think they thought we had food.

We tried on boots and cowboy hats.  Owen loved the hats as much as Meg.
I tried on boots and I told Owen I was going to buy a pair to remind me of cowboy country..... he said, "I don't think so Mom."

This was Meg's favorite hat.  Turquoise is her thing!  I tired my best to get Pascal to try on a pair of boots.  I was even willing to get up early because they were giving out Wrangler Jeans to the first 50 customers.  The thought of Pascal in Wranglers and boots had us both laughing down the aisle.

It's been a rough week.  Marvin's family leaves in a little over two weeks.  We are beyond thrilled they will be back together as a family but knowing these two guys will be separated brings lots of tears.  This week is Spring Break and we are trying to give the boys lots of time together.  We are also still waiting to find out where we go next.  It just feels a bit heavy right now.  I'm already praying God will bring these boys back together somewhere down the road.
More pics to come! We are off to the indoor pool today to meet up with Marvin and are visiting some local caverns later this week.  I will focus on our time together and not think about the leaving part.

I didn't really have much on my camera this week.  Just some random and weird shots but that's just how it goes sometimes.
It was crazy hat day at school so Meg wore this:

Sometimes I am even surprised at how resourceful Owen and Meg are.  Owen asked me to come outside and see how he recreated Pointe du Hoc and had one of his Rangers scaling the 100 ft cliff.

Owen and Meg LOVE to build forts and they can build a fort out of anything.
Of course a fort wouldn't be complete without a campfire!  Impressive....right?
I love finding notes!  Here is one addressing their camp site!
I'm sure you can guess who wrote this!  (it says:  Rangers Lead the Way and 101st Airborne!)

Owen, Meg and our new neighbor are all in this tree!
They are demoing lots of houses in our neighborhood.  Ours will be demolished after we leave.  Here is the view across the street a few days ago.

Here is the same view today!
My buddy!
Here is Owen's school picture.  He handed it to me and said, "Mom this is super cheesy."
I don't think we will be ordering these.

I did think it was cute they included a picture of the class being silly!

At that's another week with the Rebers!
