Reber Round-Up

Guess who started hockey practice?  Somebody is super excited at our house.

Meg and I stayed in the lobby we had to laugh at this sign.
A little bit of Christmas art

I use to make these angels with my 4th graders when I was a teacher.  I checked my very old "teacher file" and still had a copy.  You take the template, place it over black paper and use a tack to punch holes over the design.  The kids would get so excited to see their angel placed over a light or candle.
Here it is sitting in Meg's window.   It's a super easy craft but looks amazing.
I gave Meg a little writing assignment in which she filled out a Job Application to be one of Santa's Elves.  Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did.

This is Sparkle Toes and Freddie Jingle Pants signing off!!

Week in Review

We did our first road race in SC.  The kids and I joined in on the Ugly Sweater Run.
The kids road their bikes it was a little chilly.
Here are the contestants for the ugly sweater contest
 This guy won 1st place.
We are not sure why Owen didn't win.
(Just kidding I photo chopped Owen's head onto this sweater.) We sadly didn't wear any ugly sweaters.   I should have had the kids make sweaters. There is always next year.

We really enjoyed the Citadel Christmas program.

A little fun on the beach

                                                            scooter time
We decided to try something called Poetry Tea-Time.  Owen was onboard because it involved food.
 Tea -cups and poetry books

Aunt B came to visit us.
                                                                     Sisters!

We love to bike.  We took the camera along and took pics of what we like to call, "The Loop"

                                                               And we're off!

Flowers in December?  Thank you South Carolina!!

We piped our first parade.  We haven't done a Christmas parade in years.  We met in the parking lot of .......you guessed it.....The Kickin' Chicken.   The owners came out and begged someone to play inside.  Pascal was a good sport and played them a tune.

The kids followed up the band in the back and handed out candy.
 The Ladies!!
after the parade we joined in the tradition of playing through Harris Teeter.
Here we are lining up to go in.  First time playing down the dairy isle for me!!

Good times!
