What We've Been Up To

We like to head down the road and run this route twice a week.  We head down before the sun comes up and God just speaks to me out there.

 Still picking

This is how our garage looks most days
 Neighborhood get togethers
Meg and I did some leaf prints.  We used Plaster of Paris and leaves we found on our street.  Then we painted them.

Owen is back on the......wait for it...... not ice...but roller rink!!  They have a roller hockey league.  Owen is on the adult team and scored a goal on his first night out!   Go #9!

What happens when Owen says, "Mom, can I have a little piece of cake?"

Mimi came to town!!!  We were so excited to show Mimi around.

Meg loves this little dog named Cutie!
I love what the kids come up with.  On this particular day their bikes were "horses" and they had to ride their "horses" around the "barrels"  (cones) you also had to do it with one hand behind your back.

We celebrated Meg's birthday this week and she only asked for one thing.  A LASSO.  That's right this girl wanted a lasso and she has played with it non stop.  Here she is outside lassoing the fire hydrant.  She has spent hours doing this.  She also lassos from her bike.

11 years old for this sweet girl.

We were thrilled when we heard Lee Strobel was coming to our church.  He preached on Sunday morning and then in the evening they showed his movie and had a time for questions after the movie with himself and his wife.
Meg wanted his autograph  -  she was so bummed when this lady photo bombed her time with THE LEE STROBEL.
We are big fans!! We had already seen the movie once and they kids loved it and were happy to see it again.  We loved the live discussion after the movie.  Great movie, great books, amazing Godly man!
We were really blessed by this evening.

First road race with OWEN!!
He was super nervous but did an amazing job.  6.2 miles in 48 minutes.

This guy passed me and carried the flag the entire race!! super impressive

We saw this car in traffic the other day and we thought it was funny.
We got BOOED this week which made the kids so happy.  We then put a sign on our door saying we got "booed".  We in turn had to "boo" someone else on our street.  Our goody bag had candy and all sorts of fun things.  So funny when you hear your doorbell, answer the door and see a goody bag left.  I noticed how some of the parents were getting into the spirit by "BOOZING" each other.  Instead of a candy and treat bag they get a bag of beer.  I don't know why but we found this funny.

and that's a wrap!!
