Weekly - Round Up!

We had a BBQ.  The kids were super helpful in assisting us in pulling this off.

We had a little fundraiser and Meg was the helper.  We auctioned off some doughnuts with prizes in the middle.  These doughnuts brought in some serious money I think the last count was $400.  All the proceeds go to assist the family readiness group.

 Meg made a little buddy

Here is our attempt at making smores in a solar oven.  Meg's face says it all.  I think she was very skeptical that the solar oven would work.
Come on solar oven don't let me down.
 Success!!
now this face tells a different story.
Meg snapped these photos of Owen in the car and we all laughed when we saw them.

I love the close up of his hair.

Owen's bulletin from Church.  Totally turned the chapel into a scene from WWII
One of Pascal's soldiers gave him some shoes for Owen.  We were shocked when Pascal came home with these.  Owen was super excited.  It is hard to keep this guy in shoes.  We were so grateful for these 4 pairs!

We found this nerf vest at the thrift store for $2.00.  When we got to the counter the guy said, Oh you get 10% off for being a frequent shopper!!  Owen was the happiest kid  on the planet.  I've never seen him go around the house looking for every possible nerf bullet to put on his vest.
Well, this is a shot of the ceiling in our living room.  It's almost like the apartment knows we are leaving.   It seems to be saying, "good-bye Rebers....I'm ready for some new tenants.  Your time here has come to an end."
We walked out one day to see the mailbox had completely come off the brick.  It too seems to be saying, good -bye.

I will miss my early KS mornings.
and that brings us to the end of another week.  We are down to just a few short days here in KS.  You start to have a mixture of emotions and times of change are never easy.  We are excited as we look ahead and wonder what God has in store for us.
