Reber Round-Up

I WON!!!  That's right I won a contest at our local commissary!  I was so excited I could hardly make it from the mailbox to the house!  This thrilled me!

Meg leaves me messages on this board in our garage.  She also writes me a little treasure called, "Meg's Column" and it brings me so much joy!
Owen's last track meet.  This was a new rodeo for us and in the end shin splints and runner's knee took Owen out of the last few events.  We learned a lot and I was proud of Owen for giving it a try.  This was his face knowing he still had to run the 3200.
While Owen and I were at the meet Pascal and Meg had a dinner date out!
Everything is blooming here and Meg's allergies are also in full bloom.
Our dear friends from Arizona sent me these handmade quilted items.  We met them over 10 years ago and still stay in touch!  They are super special to us!
I saw these unique journals you can have custom made on Etsy. I know Meg would love one of these.  I think this might be a future Christmas gift!  They are personalized and look like antique books.  I just have to think of what the title would be.  Free Spirit*Old Soul is in the running as a title.
Pipes are back!  Pascal and I are back piping with the very band that we started with 20 years ago!  And a few are same people are still there. We are all a little greyer these days!!

Saw this little family crossing the road on my run this morning.
Received this phone book in the mail today.  I didn't even know they still made these!
This was the car in front of me today and it made me smile.
We are trying out a new place for Meg to take horseback riding lessons stay tuned.  We went out there yesterday and it was a true adventure.

Bike Rides and Strawberries

Meg and I head out most evenings on our bikes.

and we are off

We like to loop through the neighborhood and then stop at a church down the road from us.  We swing for a bit and enjoy the weather and scenery.

Today we ventured down the road a few miles to a local strawberry farm and picked.

Strawberries and whipped cream are a favorite in this house!

All about Running
Owen has been keeping us busy with track season.  He has been running the 3200, the 1600 and the 800.

the 3200 is brutal!  Keep going buddy!
Only a two more meets and track season will come to a end.
Meg showed me some of the notes she found in her school text books.  They made us laugh!

Someone did not like Mrs. Green or Mrs. Haynes.  The books are pretty old and these teachers aren't there any more.
Someone had some real time on there hands and wrote this one.

Meg received the most beautiful handmade blanket from her 94 year old pen-pal Grandma Caroline!!

These two are great buddies and we are hoping we will get to meet her over the summer!
