What We've Been Up To

This has been a rough moving season.  We lost half of our neighborhood.  Meg had to say good bye this week to these sweet girls.

These girls have made lots of memories.  They will be missed.
Meg used some of her money to buy her very own goggles.  These are not cheap but now she doesn't have to share with Owen.
Lots of pool time.  The heat in KS has been hot, hot, hot!!  We did have 3 overcast days and the temps dropped to the 70's!!

We play tennis in the mornings or evenings.

Then Owen and Meg have timed scooter races around the court.

Owen's hair...... I mean look at this photo......that is completely natural..... no products just 100%Owen!!  He has been real into letting it do its own thing.  I persuaded him into letting me trim his ears and neck.

He wanted to show me the many looks he can achieve:

                                                                         To the side
                                                                        Down front
                                                                      Straight Up
                                                                    Straight back
letting it do its own thing
one more time to the side
and we are back at the pool
Because when it is this hot you have to survive

We had it to ourselves on the 4th!

One day the lifeguards asked the kids to play games with them.

 Weekly art/museum time
This week the instructor talked to the kids about motion in art.  After the lesson they were asked to sculpt something showing motion.   Here is Meg's final project.  Any guesses?
A model walking down the runway.
Owen did.......Soccer!  I like his little patches of "turf"

 and bubbles!!

You know how we are always finding flyers for things to do.  Well we spotted one for a motorcycle show!
 This looks cool!
 Warming up!
Owen giving him a high five as he drove by!!
 Check it out!!

Owen even got some free photos!!

and thats a re-cap!!
