Haircut!

Meg got her haircut yesterday.  It was a little shorter than I wanted but one is always taking a risk by getting a haircut on base.  In the end, she loves it and I think it will be perfect for the summer!

Meg and I have been reading Raggedy Ann.  I love how the "dollies" come alive when the little girl leaves the playroom.  Meg is loving these stories.  Before she was born a sweet lady gave her a homemade Raggedy Ann doll and another lady gave her this book. The last few weeks she has taken an interest in Raggedy Ann and kept asking me questions about her.  I told her a dear friend gave me a book about her so we went through by book box and  found the book.
For a real treat I let her watch Raggedy Ann and Andy on You Tube!

Best Friends!

We are so excited that Owen has made a best friend here in Germany. Marvin and Owen are all about Star Wars and Legos!!  Marvin has a sister around Meg's age and that is such a blessing!  I have made Friday afternoons Owen and Marvin time.  We meet at the park and the kids spend hours playing with each other.  As one experiences the many moves and changes the Military brings the value of Friendship is a real treasure.

Gruyere, Switzerland

I love to tour factories and see how things are made. It only made sense to visit a factory that produces one of the main staples in the Reber household....CHEESE.  We really enjoyed our time in Switzerland and loved seeing how one of our favorite kinds of cheese is made.

Ending our visit with a cheese fondue!
