Weekly Happenings

Meg got a package from a dear friend this week.  Military friends have a special way of staying in touch!  Meg was so thrilled to hear from her, she really misses her buddy.

Time for the beach

Thanks to Goodwill we are back to our biking routine. We picked this bike up for Owen and he test rode it in the Goodwill parking lot.   Funny that as I was posting this picture I noticed his entire outfit is from Goodwill.  He reminds me daily that his jacket is too small.  Good thing the weather is warming up... last season for that jacket.  Shoutout to Goodwill!!
Sometimes for some extra PE we head to the car wash.  I call this car wash circuit training.  I give them 4 minutes worth of quarters and they have to have the car completely washed.  Ready set......
Car Wash workout....it's no joke!!
Morning bike rides are just our thing.

bike rides to the library

Owen is in charge of putting the flag out in the morning and bringing it inside in the evening. He takes this job very seriously.

Great weather for kites!
and that's life.  Stay tuned...we are celebrating a very special birthday this week!

Weekly Round-Up

Well, Owen's bike is out of commission so we tried getting around the loop like this but it proved to be too difficult on Owen's legs and way too painful for Meg's bum.
Looks like a new bike may be in Owen's future!
Here we are volunteering with the Soldier's Angels food drive.  We helped to hand out 9,000 pounds of food to veterans.

We worked at station 3.  The meat section.
The local news showed up and we were on the  6:00 news!!

we have had some foggy and chilly days here in Charleston
Pascal ran the Charleston Marathon on Saturday it was a cool run with temps in the 40s.  Way to go Pascal!!  We were his drop off and pick up ride.  Team Reber at your service!!
 Setting up dominoes
Not many pics this week.  We had dental cleanings and orthodontist appointments that seem to take up our time.  New week ahead.... we'll see what it holds.
