Reber Round-Up

We headed to the mountains where the kids played in the last little bit of snow they had before it melted.

We came back and the same week headed to the beach!

Time for the annual Christmas Story play
This year Mimi added beards to her collection of costumes, this proved to be a hit.

We hope everyones Christmas was as special as ours.

What We've Been Up To

Sometimes we'll pack a picnic lunch and meet up with Pascal at work.  There is beautiful park behind where he works.  We love meeting up there.

We played in the Charleston Christmas Parade.  The streets were packed and it was a fun crowd to play for.

I played right in front of the bass drummer and loved every minute of it.

This guy was in much need of a haircut.
                                                                           Before

After                                                     "Mom, can I put this poster up in my room....I
can dream of eating these sandwiches."   Me - "UH no and
and No again... that is a flyer Owen and we have never even
                                                               been to Arby's."

Meg made a fox puppet this week

sometimes Owen leaves me notes when I grade his papers.....I love the accompanying bomb scene.
Meg and I went to a local thrift store where all kids clothes were .99!!  We got these for our friend Wendy who has some little grandsons!!
We got a whole pile of clothes even the shoes were .99!!
 Recent Quotes from Owen
"Mom we have nothing in the pantry.... what am I like on a diet?"
"Mom, there is NOTHING in the pantry.... so I was searching and way in the back I found these Premium Minis... mom they are awesome!! Why have you never told me about these?"

This week the kids and I volunteered at the Veterans Mobile Food Pantry.  I didn't get any pictures because we were so busy.  But we loved it. We handed out food to about 200 low income veterans.  We were in charge of drinks.  The kids and I would bag them and then the veterans would pull up in in their cars and we would load them into their trunk.  Pascal and Owen visited the Veteran's Hospital a few weeks ago to visit with sick Veterans and they really enjoyed it. We are waiting on our paperwork to go through and then we will get "badges."  We are super excited to do more volunteer work with this great organization.

After volunteering we went by Chick-fil-A and a lady offered the kids free ice-cream.  We were super excited!!

Meg and I head to Yoga several times a week. WE just love it!! Our instructor is amazing!!  She uses Meg as a demo all the time to model poses the rest of us can just dream about doing.  Here she is showing a few of her poses off.

 Tortoise
 Boat

It is hard to see but she is lifting herself off the ground.   Just try it!

Crow - again balancing in the air.
We love watching Owen play hockey.  He is much more confident this year!  Last year we came in the middle of the season and the other players never even spoke to him.  This year he knows all his team mates and loves going to practice.  He has scored several times at the games!!

I took Meg to see a play at the library put on by one of favorite companies called Pork Chop Productions!!  WE love these ladies.  There are only two of them and they are just amazing!!
They use the most simple props but all the kids are sitting go the edge of their seats.

Soup ..... its whats on the menu these days!!
Our latest puzzle.
It was really hard not to buy the "AB Circle."  I have a dream of buying up all this crazy exercise equipment and keeping it in the garage for when the kids need to blow of some steam.  "Owen thats it .... GO GET on the AB CIRCLE!

Stay tuned we are off to the mountains where there is snow!  I should have some wintery pictures coming!
