Reber Round -Up

We checked out the local robotics team at a nearby library. Their robot could pick up balls and then shoot them out!
Then we checked out Jungle Jim at another library.  This guy managed to fit his entire body into a balloon.  We weren't sure what to think about that.
Then we hit the road for a very long road trip.  We stopped off to celebrate this guys birthday.  We soaked up some good cousin fun.

 Happy Birthday Asa!

 The bigs

 Family shot

 Water balloon time

Then it was back on the road.  It was a long drive to Kentucky but we made it!  So great to spend time with this guy on Father's Day!!

What a drive!  Worth every minute to be together as a family!

Summer Days

We like to head to the local library to catch plays.  The group that puts them on is AMAZING!!

Meg had to say goodbye to one of her best friends this week.  This is never easy.

Meg picked out a new hat! She is Miss Fashionista....it had to be "floppy"

Mimi came for a visit and we took her to all of our favorite places
We go through buckets of bubble solution

Taking care of the lawn  - old school style.  This is a great cardio workout!
Round and round he goes.... the blades need sharpened but he doesn't know this.
 Meg's shell collection

 We head to the pool
Check out Meg's new wheels!!  We picked the basket up at a thrift store months ago and Meg said, "I want to find a bike that matches the style of my basket.   I think she nailed it!!  We've all been having run riding this cruiser.
I ran a race called Run the Runway.  It was super cool  I ran right down the line of these C-17s!

 but boy was it hot!
This plus the sun = HOTNESS
YAY water hoses at the end!

 The Navy band played

 Well, hello baby bird.
We had more fun watching this nest.  It became part of our daily routine.  We checked on them all throughout the day.
and then this happened this week.  They left the nest.... sniff sniff   ....   here he goes
and the empty nest makes me sigh
and that is a peek into our summer days!
