We got the opportunity to go to the electronic range with Pascal's unit.  We felt a little lost without Pascal showing us what to do but Owen still had a lot of fun learning about the weapons.

Meg's outfit for Bible study!
Our annual list of books we've read.
A few standouts this year were:
Stone Fox
Henry and Ribsy - Thank you Amy for sending us this one.  The kids loved it!
The Return of the Indian
A few pictures for my ipad that I just downloaded
Owen celebrating turning 8!!
A trip to the Biltmore House
We loved seeing Dan and Wendy.  Meg cried and cried when we had to say goodbye to them and Chewie.

Praise!

Last year we rescued this sled from the dumpster.  We took it out today and it worked great.  The kids loved being able to ride down the hill together.  It was another great day for sledding.
Huge Praise!! The little Honda passed her yearly inspection!  This is a ginormous blessing from the Lord.  I prayed and prayed about this. Last year she didn't pass.  I will never forget getting the form back last year with huge red stamps that said, REJECTED, UNSAFE, DENIED.  We had a dear friend help us last year and he spent hours working on her.  Not long after he finished working on her he moved away.  With Pascal gone and our favorite mechanic gone, I just felt like handling car issues would be so hard.  So the kids and I prayed and prayed and prayed some more.  We had a little party afterwards to celebrate her success!  Thank you Lord!

Fancy Feet

Snow!!

We had snow waiting to greet us back in Germany.  We got our sleds out of storage and have been putting them to good use.  Owen could sled for hours while Meg and I are content with a couple good runs, and then we are too cold to enjoy it any more.  The temperature has been hovering in the the 20's.

The kids and I headed back to the states over Christmas and we had the best time.  The following slideshow highlights some of the great times we had.  This is a picture taken of Owen before we boarded the plane and left Germany.
