Week In Review

Pascal ran a marathon last weekend.  This is taken later in the day.  I failed to get any pictures at the race.  There were thousands of runners so we dropped him at the start line came home and then went back to pick him up when he was done.  So funny to get a text.  "Honey, I'm done."
We had to park super far away when we went back to get him.  All the roads near the course were blocked.  Poor guy had to walk over a mile just to find us at the end of the race.  Nothing like running 26 miles and then having to walk a long way to your car!!   Way to go Pascal!!

 We checked out this lake.

Meg's hair is getting long and this is my attempt for "Sunday" hair.
Meg requested a picnic on the beach.  So we packed a little bag and then headed off.  Owen and Meg love to play badminton.

 Hockey games and practices
a few action shots of #17

Meg put on a magic show with her neighborhood buddy.
and just like that 5 of Owen's teeth were pulled out.
Here he is after the surgery.  He was amazing!  They gave him laughing gas and he was a bit dazed when it was over but two hours later he asked for tater tots.  He took zero pain meds after it was done.   Later in the day he said, "mom the doctor was so nice.....but I have no idea what his face looks like."  I told him that is the affect of the laughing gas.

A little of Owen's art work
We made this paper model of Shakespeare's Globe.
Here is our attempt at a map of Switzerland
 Meg's castle
After Owen's hockey game Pascal treated us to lunch at this French Cafe.  He had a lovely time talking to the owners in French and we loved the food.  Regardez toutes ces patisseries!

Owen really enjoyed this sandwich.  We are a little bit snobby when it comes to bread.  We like European bread....crusty on the outside soft on the inside.  This bread was spot on!!
 Someone was super happy!
I just think it is funny to see these guys all around our yard.
Talking about bread this is our weekly bread run.
 Blueberries for $1.00

I LOVE Blueberries and they make me happy.
