Weekly Round up!
Meg loves making things.  She made these one day at the park.

We went to a little Fall Festival in Brevard.
 We always enjoy the costumes!

Mimi got the kids a fish and they are super into it.  They named it Sparta!  Thank you Mimi!
I read in the newspaper about a WWII vet speaking in a neighboring town. Owen was super excited to hear this man's story.  However, when we got there they informed us the gentlemen entered the hospital yesterday.  We were so sad to hear this but we stayed for the little Veteran's Ceremony and met a lovely couple.
I always tear up when veterans salute the flag.
A few pics of our art this week.  We were studying Joshua and learned it is related to Jesus' Hebrew name.  So we did a little cut out.  Meg noticed how you really see the word "YES" in His name.   We talked about how we serve a "Yes" God.  Yes -He will meet our needs.
                                                                   Yes - He is good.
Yes - He is always with us.
Some trees on a cold winter night.

I got an email about a little contest related to the curriculum we use.  If we took a picture of a unit we studied and emailed it in we could possible win some books.  Here is our entry!!  We are hoping for the best!!

Meg studied Claude Monet and painted this picture.  I was reminded of the time we visited his home while we were in Europe.

Flash from the past:   The famous bridges!!

 His house
and that's a wrap!
