A Yellow Ticket!

Amy's sweet family sent us a package.  Every 3 days we check our PO box, and the kids stand there giddy hoping for a yellow ticket.  If you get a yellow ticket in your box it means you have a package!  On Wed. we checked our box and there it was...the beloved yellow ticket! At this point the kids begin to bounce up and down and say at least a hundred times..."Mom, we got a package, we got a package!!"  Once you have the yellow ticket you proceed down a long hallway where people are waiting to assist you.  We have only been here a few weeks and the man behind the counter saw my kids coming and said, "somebody must have a special package!"  We turned in the yellow ticket for a big brown box and Owen and Meg were bursting with excitement!  Packages are always fun but when you are going on year 2 with no family near by packages are like a piece of home.  The box was packed with all kinds of goodies including Shrinky Dinks.  My kids had never seen or heard about these and from the following video you will see that they were fascinated!  They pressed their noses to the oven and watched in awe as the plastic pieces they had colored would shrink right up! Thank you Amy for a box filled with fun.  I'm not sharing the mint Oreos!
