Reber Round-Up
MONTH in Review

What a month it has been!  A full month of transition and though a little weary we are happy to be settling in and are thrilled to call the coast "home" for the next few years.

Pascal finished up his job at Fort Riley.  A bittersweet day.

The kids and I attended our last homeschool outing in KS.  I saw a class being offered at the local museum on prairie animals.  We feel so blessed to have called the prairie home.

The museum had an authentic KS school room and I just loved it. One item they had was an old paddle and the kids whom had been paddled had to then sign their name. The little note beside it said that when parents came to visit the class they would check the paddle to see if their child had their name on it!  We had fun reading the names on the paddle.   I so wish I could transport much of this schoolroom into my own house.

 And then the process began.....

 good bye Meg's room
 Good bye dining room
 Good bye sweet living room

 You will be missed!
so many great memories made here

I ran one last race in KS the weekend before we left.  I'll miss the fields, flowers and open spaces.
it was a great race and we ran to this destination

We had to say good bye to our best friends....sniff sniff.  We are leaving with loads of memories from hanging out at the farm.  No good byes...just see you soon. We look forward to seeing each other again at the coast.  We look forward to making more memories at the beach! We miss this sweet family already! It will be hard knowing they aren't just an hour down the road.
Making our way across the states we stopped and enjoyed the Ark Encounter.  This was awesome.

a stop at the 1st Infantry Museum
look at Owen's face. He loved this museum.
this was the Normandy exhibit..they made you feel like you could walk on the beach.
We stopped to see Pascal's other best friend from college.  Such a great visit.  They loved on us and treated us like family.
and finally we arrive!

Our house was not ready so we had some time on our hands.   We took in a tour of Fort Sumter.

We then found out the moving company couldn't deliver our stuff for a few weeks....sooo we headed towards family.   Thank goodness they let us crash there for awhile!  We celebrated Meg's 9th birthday!!

I ran a road race while in NC. I won a gift certificate to the Salvation Army thrift store!  I was over the moon!!  For a girl who loves to thrift this was the ultimate gift!!
back to the coast ready for the movers to come!!

this is pretty much how we felt about the movers bringing our stuff from KS

hooray for home!!  We are loving our new place.

 our backyard
 more pics to come!

We feel so grateful to be here and are excited to see what God has in store for us!!
