Our Week
We came back home from running errands and saw a package in our mailbox. It was addressed to Owen and boy was this kid excited when he found out it was a signed picture and card of his favorite hockey player: John Gibson! Owen had written him ONE year ago asking him for his autograph. He had given up on hearing from him weeks after he wrote the letter. Patience pays off!!
P'tite mom sent us some treasures from Switzerland!! We LOVE Swiss treats!!
Meg started a girl's Bible study this week. The Chaplain's wife it doing it and does a fantastic job. The girls play a game, get a snack, do their study for an hour and then it ends with them running. They are working on running 2 miles so that in November they can do the Gobble Wobble Turkey Run together. I'm the "memory verse mom" next week which means I listen as the girls recite their verse and provide the snack.
Meg made me this beautiful Prayer book for my birthday. Super Sweet!!
Evening walks
Check out what 11 year old boys like to do for fun.
I was coming back from a walk and saw this. They constructed this shelter.
One gets in the shelter while the other one tries to throw dirt bombs at them. Fun right???
Apparently!! They did this for hours!!
The Rebers have marching orders. The move date is set and we only have a few weeks left here in KS and so the process begins. It's an exciting time and also a little overwhelming. Meg and I are on a clean out mission. Busy days ahead.
