Weekly Round- Up

Mimi came to town and brought kites.  This provided hours worth of fun!

 Then it was off to zip lining!  We were all a little nervous.

 All geared up and ready to go!

 They started us on "baby" zip lines.

Owen was so excited about this!! He was all into it!!

 Each line got a little steeper and longer!

 There goes Meg!!  She had no fear!                        

 Mimi was so brave and she really enjoyed it!!

 Our guide was awesome!!  What a great day!

One day we headed to the K-State Gardens and Insect Zoo!!

I failed to get any pictures in the insect zoo we were too weirded out!!  We were in a bit of a rush as Meg was not into it!!  (there may have been others that were not to into it as well.)

Weekly Round-Up

 We are still making bubbles!

 We followed up our bubble activities up with some bubble art.

 Meg was a trooper and rode her bike while I ran the Remembrance Run

 We had to run /bike these four miles fast because she had a soccer game right after the race

 and we are done with the race and off to Meg and Owen's last soccer game

 Owen was goalie and got a nasty bruise.  He took a cleat to the thigh.  He is awesome and even played the next day!

 We were on dog duty this week.   We tended to this little lady.  but when the week was over Meg said, "I don't think I want a puppy they are just too much work!"

 The kids play four square.  They take it very seriously.  My favorite part is right before they start a game everyone calls out the rules:  NO SNAKE EYES, NO DOUBLE TAPS, NO CHERRY BOMBS, NO SHOE SHINERS, NO PACKMAN.....so funny

This is pretty much how we felt last week with lots of storm and tornado warnings!  So thankful we had beautiful days this week!
