Weekly Round-Up

We've had quite a few cloudy days.  It makes the sunny ones all the sweeter.  

 Meg loves Diesel, the dog at the end of our street.  They are buddies!!

 Meg planted new flowers.

 My sweet hummies.  I have to re-fill the feeder every 3-4 days.

 We are baking a lot.  We have tried a few new recipes.

We also had so much fun making these book pieces.

 We filled up our reading chart and it made me feel good.  These are books we read aloud together. So many memories.

 Needing a new chart for these two books we finished this week.  Owen really like Goodbye, Mr. Chips. A sweet short read!

 We listened to White Bird on audio and it was so good!!  We love R. J. Palacio.   We read everything she writes.

The Express pot is going strong.  Beef and Broccoli with Rice is a huge hit here.

Time for an update.  

 So thankful we got in a visit with Pappy and Mimi weeks ago before the lockdown took place.

So lately we have been taking lots of hikes!

 look closely and you'll see divers who were jumping off the rocks into the water

 Pascal and the kids surprised me with an Express Crock-Pot.  I love it!!  Have been using it like crazy.

 This hike was a doozie.  3.5 miles UP, UP and Up some more.  The coming down was hard too because it was so steep.

 Last time we did this hike we made it to that little pond.  This time we went to the top!

 Megs been taking an on-line chalk pastel class.  She is a great little artist

 So grateful we have been able to get Meg to the ranch for riding lessons.
