Last week when we got Owen's bike back into working order I noticed he had almost out grown it. So I remember thinking it won't be long before he needs a bigger bike, well God heard that thought and took care of us because on our weekly visit to the Thrift store on base I found this little ditty for $25! I was so excited becuase it is a german made kids bike with a bell, front head light, back light, hand breaks and fenders to boot! Thought it was super cool but would it fit in the little honda? Well, Meg and I are regulars at the thrift store so the lady said I could try to fit it into the car before I bought it. It also gave me a chance to ride it in the parking lot. I know you would have love to have seen that! But it wouldn't fit into the trunk. What to do...What to do....??? Well, There is not much these days that I won't try to figure out so I decided to put it in the backseat and the kids would just have to somehow put their legs around it, I wasn't going to let this treasure pass us up and so with some shoving and a little hard work it was in!! And the little german bike was ours!
Isn't it grand! Mr. Six was pleased!
Our livingroom gets a lot of sun so I found Meg watching a movie with her sunglasses on. upside down of couse!
