Weeks in Review
One of our traditions is going through the McDonald's drive thru and getting a cone. It's the best! If you haven't done this you've got to try it. Nothing like a cone to brighten your day!
Sweet young lady
What??? Who is that cutie. Can you tell we've been doing this for awhile!
These two have always been buddies
After our cones we walk
Meg working on her lasso skills
Her happy place.
Her instructor was telling me how much Astro loves Meg. She says she can tell he looks forward to her lesson. He'll be way off in the paddock and as soon as he sees Meg he comes to the gate. She says he also watches out for her, always making sure she is safe.
She has loved horses since she was itty bitty
Sometimes we head to the beach just to get out. So thankful we have this place to go to.
I picked up this journal at a thrift store. This quote made me smile.
This is a typical scene....boys yelling up at Owen through his window to come out and play.
Meg's tomato plants.... I can get a handful about every 2-3 days. This makes me so happy!!
So Owen LOVES these things!! and all the boys in the neighborhood love them too. They are super hot. Even the little guys that are four and five eat these things. What??? How do they do it?? Give Owen a bag of these and he is super happy! DINAMITA for sure!
Pascal's Challah bread. He is becoming an expert.
Apple/banana muffins for the win!
OWEN......OWEN....COME OUTSIDE!!!
I CAN HEAR YOU OWEN.....YOU BETTER COME DOWN.
OWEN...OWEN!! YOU WANT TO PLAY HOCKEY?
I love, love, love Kate DiCamillo! One of my most favorite authors. She posted this and I just thought it was so sweet.
So Owen ordered a beard off amazon. This is what he looks like!! I can only imagine what the neighbors think!
I went into the garage to put a can in the recycle bin and found this little guy. He found some of Owen's old toys and was just having the best time. He was in his own little world making sounds and lining them up. And for the briefest second I saw Owen at that age and seemed just like yesterday. and it made me a little sad.
but this guy keeps me laughing..."Mom my food bar is critical" this is what I hear ALL....THE...TIME
Owen's happy place.... right now
Packing away last year's school room. Gearing up for the next chapter.
