Goodbyes, See you soon, and New Beginnings

Meg had to say her final goodbye to her bestie.  I totally cried seeing these girls hug for the last time.  This sweet little lady is already missed!
We met up with Owen's best buddy Marvin.  We wanted to get together one last time while we were on the East Coast.  These guys are growing up so fast!
Then we had five wonderful days with family. I failed to get pics because we were just soaking up the time of being with them!
Time to hit the road and drive.....
quick pit stop in KS where Meg surprised her friend.  She called her and said, "Hey, I'm in the neighborhood come outside!"
We stopped by our favorite farm to see our favorite KS family.  These are dear friends and we look forward to our next visit.
 College/life buds

Then it was back on the road

We rested a day in Vail, CO.  We had no idea that skiing season had just ended and 95% of the town was shut down for their break after the busy ski season.  It was a ghost town.  We enjoyed it though, we were the only ones around!

Back on the road

We also stopped at Greg Laurie's Church Harvest and caught their Sunday Service.  It was a treat to meet him.  It is always a blessing to visit his church.
Where Owen and Meg were baptized

These are some of our Harvest friends!  We grabbed a bite with them after the service.  They prayed over us in the parking lot before we left.

We MADE IT!! Hello Pacific Ocean!

I googled a good place to eat and this tiny restaurant came up that was right on Fisherman's Wharf.  I loved this sign they had:
Our first meal in sunny CA
And then after a few days the moving truck arrived

We quickly found out that we will have to keep lots of quarters in the car to feed parking meters.  You have to pay for parking everywhere you go.  This sign made me smile.  I saw it on my run.
This beautiful tree is the view from our living room.  We unpacked the last of the boxes today.  We are ready to explore the area.  Stay tuned!

Prayers appreciate in finding a church and friends for the kids.
