Mimi and Pappy came for a visit!  Here we are showing them the little town of Lindsburg, KS.

 

                                                            
                                       Next stop was Apple Day held right here in our own backyard of Fort Riley!
What a great day this was.  First stop the range.  Owen got to fire here and was super excited!

                                                        Here he is all ready to shoot.

                                                          Next, was a ride in a Humvee! 

                                                         Here we are ready to go!

                                  
                                          Owen was the gunner in our Humvee.  We had to radio in the name of ours.  We called ourselves "Lego Force."  Pappy, Mimi and Meg were in front of us we heard Meg's voice over the radio calling in their Humvee named "the wave".

                                       Then it was off to ride the ATV's. 

 And we're off!

 We checked out all sorts of military aircraft.

                              We really enjoyed the Calvary Horse Show!

                                                            and the petting zoo!

Apple Day was a big hit!

and then it was time to say good bye!

                                                             good byes are always hard

                                   We started to have lots of tears so leave it to Mimi to spice things up a little and bring back some laughs!
