It has not been easy coming back and finding a routine for just the three of us. We miss our family so much and it has been especially hard for Owen. We have had lots of tears and dropping him off at school is an emotional process. Each day I try to think of something to cheer him up. We have had nerf gun fights and lots of video games but today I got him a pie. An Edward's Key Lime is one of Owen and my favorites. We usually buy one when there is something to celebrate. So today we are celebrating that Owen went to school!
I decided to take the kids to the Thermal Bath here in Wiesbaden just a few blocks away. It was our first visit. The water is super warm and is suppose to be really good for your body. We were so excited that no one was in the kids area!
At about half way through our new swimming experience Meg discovered Owen's goggles. She loved them and kept saying, "Mom, I have to get some of these." I think she loved them just because they were some sort of accessory. She asked to wear them outside of the pool and in the car but I declined on this one.
They even have an outdoor area where you can swim. It was in the low 40's and raining, but lots of people enjoyed the thermal baths outside.
We avoided the sauna at all cost on account of bullet point number 3!!
